The Sista code
Whatsoever things are true,
Whatsoever things are honest,
Whatsoever things are just,
Whatsoever things are pure,
Whatsoever things are lovely,
Whatsoever things are of good report;
If there be any virtue,
And if there be any praise,
Think on these things

Leading a Sista to Christ
Evangelism is a vital part of The Sista Circle. As we lead the group, we look for opportunities to invite women to accept Jesus as Savior.
Admit you have sinned (1John1:9), God loves everyone and wants all to become members of His family, but sin keeps us apart from God (John3:16). The Bible says all have sinned (Romans3:23). The punishment for sin is eternal separation from God and heaven. This is spiritual death (Romans6:23).
Believe Jesus is God’s Son. He took the punishment for your sins on Himself by dying on the cross (Romans5:8). You must believe that He is God and that He died to offer you forgiveness (1Peter2:24).
Confess your sins. You must be truly sorry for your sins, forsake (stop) them, and ask Jesus to forgive you (Acts3:19). Emphasize that we accept salvation through faith, not feelings. Give thanks to God for His gift. Tell others you have received Jesus as your Savior (Romans10:9)
-
Encourage the women to grow as a new Christian through (a) daily Bible reading, (b) daily prayer, (c) regular church attendance, and (d) obedience to God’s commands.
